Applying for housing
We have a range of different house types and sizes of accommodation, ranging from 1 bedroom bungalows, to 4 bedroom houses available for let.
To find out about our stock, please go to our Properties available for let section.
We participate in SEARCH, the Common Housing Register for East Ayrshire. By completing a single application form, applicants can register interest in housing with any of the 5 participating landlords.
Our Housing List is open at all times to anyone aged 16 years and over. All applications will be assessed and prioritised according to their housing need.
If you are interested in applying for a house, you should complete an application form which you can obtain by telephoning 01563 528816, calling into our office or downloading the form here.
If you have a health problem or disability which you wish to be considered, then you will also need to complete an application to assess the impact of your health and disability on your housing needs.
You should complete and sign your application form before you submit it to our office. Once we receive it, we will acknowledge it within 2 working days. Your application will be assessed and prioritised according to the points scheme. You can obtain full details of this in the Application for Housing Information Leaflet.
When an applicant is being considered for a property, a home visit will normally be carried out to go over the content of the application form and confirm the points awarded.
An offer will be made to the applicant who has the most points for the size and type of house available.
