Executive team
Our Executive Team consists of three full-time employees who work closely with the Board and are supported by the wider management team.
Chief Executive: Shannon Watson CA(SA) CA
Shannon took on the role of Chief Executive in January 2022. Shannon has extensive experience in housing and has worked in senior management roles since 2010. She holds an Honours Degree in Accounting Sciences and is a member of both the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Scotland.
Director of Housing & Community Services: Joyce McCroskie MA (Hons), MPhil
Joyce has been with Atrium since 2002. A highly experienced housing professional, Joyce has worked for several housing associations and a local authority. Joyce holds an MA (Hons) in History and an MPhil in Housing Studies from Glasgow University.
Interim Director of Property Services: Brian Praties
Brian has over 40 years’ experience in the social housing industry and joined Atrium as Interim Director of Property Services in March 2026.
