Atrium Homes has further expanded its development activity in East Ayrshire, with the start of its latest project in Catrine.

The development at Old Station Road will see 16 new units built on a site adjacent to the local Sports Hall and when complete will provide 2 and 3 bedroom houses for general needs along with 2 bedroom flats for older  and ambulant disabled persons.

The development, designed by MAST Architects is the latest to be built under Atrium's Single Framework Agreement with McTaggart Construction of Dalry.

Atrium's Vice Chair Jim O'Neill commented "I am pleased to see work start on this latest project.  It demonstrates Atrium's committment to the area and its ambition to continue to bring new affordable housing to East Ayrshire".
