Proposed Works to Open Areas

As you know, Atrium Initiatives is the estate manager for a number of areas and as such is responsible for organising maintenance of non-adopted open areas on behalf of all residents.    You will be aware that all owners in a feuing area have a legal responsibility to meet their share of open area maintenance costs.

As part of our role, we recently carried out a full postal survey of owners within the feuing areas we manage and from this we noted, in particular, comments on parking and other open space maintenance issues.   In parallel, we  also undertook an audit of area maintenance requirements for several feuing areas with a view to improving particular locations and dealing with particular issues.   Following this we held a series of open days to consult with owners on our proposals.

Our proposals for essential works and improvement works in these estates are set out below, along with the outcomes from the consultation exercise.   The scale of the work is such that it will be programmed over several years to spread the cost to individual owners.
