This section is aimed at

• tenants of Atrium Homes who may be interested in purchasing their home, and
• residents who own their own home within estates where Atrium Homes also owns property.

Right to Buy

Because Atrium Homes has charitable status, most of its tenants are unable to purchase their home.  Some long standing tenants may still have the right to buy however and the section on Right to Buy will help explain this in more detail.

Owners' Obligations

Over 1200 individual owners live within the estates where Atrium Homes owns properties.  All these individuals have obligations and responsibilities in relation to the overall estate including contributing towards the cost of maintaining open areas of hard and soft landscaping.  Atrium Initiatives, the wholly owned subsidiary of Atrium Homes, acts as estate manager in every estate where Atrium Homes owns houses.   Atrium Initiatives organises contracts, monitors contractor performance, pays the bills and recharges the costs to owners.  More details on this are included with the section on Owners' Obligations and within the Atrium Initiatives website.
