Atrium currently employs 21 staff in four main departments;
Central Support
The Central Support Department headed by the Chief Executive has responsibility for governance, office management and HR activities.
Central Support staff work with the Chief Executive and deal with a range of support functions within the organisation as well as providing assistance to other teams. Their duties include:
Housing Services
Reporting to the Head of Operations, staff spend a large amount of time out on Atrium’s estates on operational activities related to tenancy management. Their duties include:
Corporate Services
This department, headed by the Head of Finance has responsibility for financial management and control, some aspects of human resource management, office administration and IT.
Staff deal with a range of matters related to tenants and to other customers of Atrium. They handle many different customer transactions on a daily basis, from receiving rental and rechargeable repair payments (ensuring of course they are all lodged in the relevant customer account) to processing contractor invoices and ensuring suppliers are paid.
The team provides key in house services to other departments of Atrium, monitoring spend and budget and providing detailed management accounts for consideration and action. This service extends to payroll,timekeeping and absence management.
Staff also provide finance support services to Atrium Initiatives, our wholly owned subsidiary.
Development & Regeneration Services
This department, headed by the Head of Investment has responsibility for managing our programme of building new homes, identifying future development opportunities and implementing potential regeneration activities. This includes the provision of affordable housing for rent and sale in conjunction with key partners such as East Ayrshire Council and the Scottish Government.
Atrium is keen to provide a range of housing and house types to address differing housing need. The team's remit is to respond positively to opportunities that help diversify housing provision and which encompasses family, older persons and specialist housing for community care needs.
The team also has responsibility for asset management of existing stock, including identifying, procuring and implementing improvement and maintenance works.
